The Science Education Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (SEI-DOST) is spearheading the development of critical databases relevant to science education.  One such database is the Science Educators' Electronic-Registry (SEER).

           SEER is an on-line database/registry of Filipino science educators of the country. Generally,
the SEER project aims to:

1. Forge a network of science educators playing a catalytic role in improving the state of the country’s science education;

2. Create and maintain an on-line database of these educators and their noteworthy contributions to science education; and

3. Serve as an interface between and among science education experts and researchers/students in search of research materials and other concerns related to science education.
